Krin Irvine

Analyst

Krin is an analyst in the Office of the District of Columbia Auditor (ODCA) who performs audits and program evaluations of District government programs.

They earned a PhD in Business, specializing in behavioral science, as well as an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. Krin also earned a JD from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Prior to graduate school, they spent a decade working as a computer scientist and consultant. During graduate school Krin focused on the intersection between law and psychology, running survey-based experiments and performing data analysis, which resulted in three papers published in academic journals. They worked in a compliance role in the federal government after graduating, then shifted to local government auditing at the ODCA.

When not working to improve the economy, efficiency, and accountability of the District government, Krin enjoys playing nerdy board games, dabbling in creative arts, and baking delicious desserts.
