Wesley joined the Office of the D.C. Auditor in September 2025 and serves as the Director of Government Relations, where he oversees the agency’s external affairs and leads strategic engagement with the Council of the District of Columbia, District government agencies, and community stakeholders. In this role, Wesley advances ODCA’s mission through coordinated outreach, strengthens understanding of audit findings and recommendations, and builds partnerships that promote effective oversight and government accountability. He is a member of ODCA’s Management Team.
With over a decade of experience in public affairs, community engagement, and intergovernmental coordination, Wesley has served in a range of leadership and advisory roles across the region. Prior to joining ODCA, he served as the Director of the Office of Community Safety in Prince William County, Va. Wesley previously held the positions of Associate Director of Community Engagement and Opportunity in the Baltimore Mayor’s Office of Neighborhood Safety and Engagement, Special Assistant at the D.C. Department of Transportation, and Constituent Services Coordinator at the D.C. Council.
Wesley holds a Master of Public Administration from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science from Virginia Commonwealth University.
