Amy is the General Counsel and Chief of Staff for the Office of the District of Columbia Auditor. As the General Counsel, she manages all legal activities for the office and serves as a liaison with the Council of the District of Columbia and the Office of the Attorney General. She also serves as the agency’s ethics counselor. In her role as Chief of Staff, Amy manages the daily operations of the office, including human resources and information technology.
Amy earned a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Albany and a Juris Doctor from American University Washington College of Law.
Prior to joining the office, Amy was chief of staff and counsel for an at-large member of the D.C. Council. Additionally, she conducted federal audits for KPMG and worked in the Clinton Administration as the director of the executive secretariat in the Office of the Secretary of Commerce.
