Jason has designed and led evaluations of education, human services, and public safety programs for ODCA, and is grateful for the opportunity to serve D.C. residents and policy makers.
Having worked as a committee budget director and legislative analyst for the Council of the District of Columbia, and as a fiscal analyst for the Chief Financial Officer, Jason has a broad range of experience in the D.C. government. Working with then-Councilmember Kathy Patterson in the late 1990s, he helped develop the D.C. Council’s annual performance hearings to inform Council oversight and budget decisions. Jason also worked as principal analyst for justice and public safety at North Carolina’s Office of State Budget and Management.
Jason holds a doctorate in public policy and administration from The George Washington University (GWU) and served as an adjunct professor at GWU and Virginia Tech. In 2021, he was elected to the executive committee of the National Legislative Program Evaluation Society, a professional staff association of the National Conference of State Legislatures.
