Jeanelle brings more than 15 years of law enforcement and public safety experience to ODCA. As an investigator, Jeanelle now serves as a subject matter expert in police practices, policies, and high-impact comprehensive investigations in completing public safety audits and program evaluations. She is honored to continue serving the diverse communities of the nation’s capital.
She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Deaf studies and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in public administration from Gallaudet University.
When she is not working to improve government efficiency, she serves as a community American Sign Language interpreter and advocates for the Deaf community. She also enjoys traveling, contemporary art, and reading fantasy-fiction books.
