Lori joined ODCA in August of 2022 to conduct audits and program evaluations of District government programs.
She was previously a fiscal analyst in the Office of Revenue Analysis in the Office of the Chief Financial Officer (OCFO), where she led the team that conducted the first round of evaluations of the District’s local tax expenditures. In that role she served as an inaugural advisory group member for the national Pew Evaluators Network. Prior to joining the OCFO in 2013, Lori was a project manager at the Pew Charitable Trusts and worked on a variety of research projects at the George Washington University’s Institute for Public Policy, including an evaluation of states’ performance and results information as part of the 2005 Government Performance Project.
Lori has a doctorate in public policy and public administration from the George Washington University’s Trachtenberg School. She also received a Bachelor of Arts in English and Spanish from the University of Louisville.
When not working to improve the economy, efficiency, and accountability of the District Government, Lori enjoys spending time with her family and travelling.
