Mia is responsible for conducting audits and program evaluations of District government programs.
Before joining ODCA in 2025, Mia was a senior analyst with the Office of Independent Juvenile Justice Facilities Oversight where she monitored and issued public reports on the status of reforms concerning the conditions of confinement and treatment in the District of Columbia’s juvenile justice system.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in sociology with a concentration in criminal and juvenile justice from Ithaca College and a Master’s degree in criminal justice from The George Washington University.
When not working to improve the economy, efficiency, and accountability of the District government, Mia enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
